Unexpected Truck Repairs!
I finished rebuilding the spare 1.5L motor, and decided to freshen up the engine bay while I have
The motor and tranny out for the swap.
So, I Scrubbed, and Washed, and de-greased, and scrubbed, and washed. Then, I moved everything I
could, taped up the rest. Then  I painted the bay with a nice high quality black engine paint.
I was a sceptic, as I Suck doing any body work, or Painting, but It looks good, and I've stopped all the
rust spots with a rust inhibitor coating....  Speaking of rust...  Look Closely at the picture on the right.
The Strut Tower has had the outer layer cut off. Its been rusted for a long time, And I can Just about
say for sure that its noware near as dangerous as some of you have been told, But I Figured it
was going to be a long time until I was this close to it, so....
Now, Before Everyone Gets The Impression That I'm A Master Welder, Think Again.
I Owe All This fine Repair Work To My Boss Paul Smith, Of  P&A Smith Auto.
He was nice enough to come in on a day off, and fix this up for me.
