-Mark 1 Scirocco grill conversion
-Duck bill spoiler
-Sucked the US bumpers closer to the car and removed the bumperettes
-Flat black around rear glass
Interior;
-84' Audi GT coupe steering wheel
-83' GTI rear bench in blue
-83' Scirocco height adjustable Recarro style front seats
-Mark 2 center console, ashtray removed and triple gauge cluster with
brushed aluminium face plate installed
by the way!)
-Home made shifter boot and aluminium Golf ball shifter
-Power windows from a Scirocco. (This was fun!)
Engine/tranny;
-For now a 1.5l from a 1976 Rabbit (I'm working on a 1.8l with bigger oil
pump and a massaged JH head)
-Mark 2 Intake manifold and larger throttle body
-Fuel injection moved to the passenger side
-4K ultra close ratio gear box from an 83' Scirocco (I blew up my FF, That's
another story)
-Late model rad with expansion tank installed
-Fuel pump/filter installed
-Air box messed around with a bit to fit passenger side
Exhaust;
-Headers 4 into 1
-Braided stainless steel Flex pipe 2" inside
-2" tubes Custom made with mandrel bends and gas welded together (I will
never do this again by the way)
-Cherry bomb
-GTI Muffler
-Extra exhaust hanger added to support cherry bomb
Suspension;
-Sway bars added from a Rabbit and Scirocco
-Custom front lower stress bar (Which just got caught on a tree root while
leaving my driveway and got all bent to fuck)
-Have but not installed H&R sport springs with new shocks all though the old
ones are still OK
-Have ordered but yet to receive from Qualityvwparts.com a complete prothane
bushing kit (Check this out but don't order until we see if I get what I
paid for)
I can't believe you retrofitted an old Volvo tach to fit your cluster but,
It looks great!
