| The History Of Chatham County Paranormal Investigators. |
Way Back in 1983... A young Erik, along with good friend Tim Douglas ran into their first "ghost". This encounter set Erik on a path with destiny. Fast forward to 1990. Erik now living in a old home in Norwalk,Ct has another run it with a spirit. This time, he decides to pursue it. Over the next year, he travels to many cemeteries and abandoned homes with his trusty 110 camera, and a radio shack tape recorder. Although all the findings are lost to time, the memories are as strong as ever. Life goes on, and More Years pass. Then in 2001 Erik and Jennifer buy a house in NC. Not just any house, but a 116 year old relic. All is quite until the restorations begin. Then, strange things start to happen. A misplaced item here or there, a whisper or two, and every once and a while, a glimpse of a shadowy figure moving between the hall. Out comes the equipment. And Although no evidence is found (yet) An Idea is born. Chatham County Paranormal Investigators is created. At first its just the two of them, spending weekends and vacations searching out claims of activity, area cemeteries, and forgotten places. Then another team comes to CCPI. And Another. Now the 6 of us make larger trips to places like Eastern State Penitentiary, Gettysburg,Pa, and Rolling Hills Sanitarium. Team members come and go, but CCPI remains. Now its spring of 2008, and the hunt continues. |
