Case 9:
A Haunting in Morrisville
" The basement that spoke volumes"

It was In September of 2004 I got the E-mail for this case.

Some of my notes have been lost to time, but I remember the
case well.  Then team member  Jason Webster Jennifer and myself
drove to the 70's built house in the ever growing town of Morrisville.

The owner, an elderly lady gave a detailed and incredible story of
the haunting, and the history of the house. We toured the house,
and the basement, and found the story to be of interest.

It seems the previous owner was a police officer in the town back
in the early 80's. His brother had moved in to the house with the
officer and his wife, apparently down on his luck, and as return for
letting him stay there, he had agreed to finish off the basement as a
separate apartment.
The basement was never finished. As the woman explained to us,
the Brother and the officers wife began a love affair, and when the
husband found out, he killed both of them in the house before
turning the gun on himself.

The story sounded like a perfect storm for a haunting...
Lots of emotions, lots of rage, and 3 dead bodies.

I sent Jason to Morrisville town records, and he was able to verify
that 3 people died the same day in the then small town of Morrisville.
The police were unable or unwilling to verify the story, and there
was no local paper in that era.

Based on the womans story, and the limited evidence we found to
corroborate it, we decided to investigate further.

Sadly the evidence from this investigation is also lost to time.

I was unable to join the team that evening, Jason, and Jennifer
went equipped with 2 35mm cameras, one with infrared film, and 2
tape recorders.  They spent the majority of the evening in the
basement as thats were the activity was located.

Neither one had any specific experience, but both felt there was a
presence in the room with them.  They caught  no evidence on film,
but the 2 tape recorders caught some of the most incredible EVP's I
have ever heard.  Neither Jason or Jennifer heard any noises, but
both recorders picked up screams, crying and what sounded like
yelling.

Based on the evidence they brought me I contacted the owner
again and asked to do another investigation. I was convinced the
house was haunted, and with some time we could help.

She declined all further attempts to have us back, and moved from
the house in late 2005.
